Video About AlmaVia of San Francisco

Please come join us as we discuss the many medical and social issues associated with living with Parkinson’s disease. Our support group discussion will be held on the first Friday of every month at 1:30pm. Patients, family members, and caregivers are all welcome to attend.

Parkinson’s disease is a condition that results from a loss of dopamine-producing brain cells. While trembling, stiffness of the limbs and slowness of movement are the most widely recognized symptoms, depression, eating disorders and problems sleeping can also be significant issues. If you or someone you love is dealing with Parkinson’s disease, it’s important to know that you are not alone and support is available.

AlmaVia of San Francisco is one of the only organizations to offer a forum like this in the Bay Area. Our discussions will include the latest treatment procedures and therapies available, so please take the opportunity to join us.
